1st Corin.  1:23  "but we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews
a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;"
(Jews looking for a temporal King)

1st  Corin.   4:11-12   "Even  unto this present  hour  we  both
hunger,  and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no
certain  dwelling place;  and labor,  working with our own hands:
being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer:"
    (Tent-making)

1st Corin.  5:6  "Your glorying is not good.  Know ye not that a
little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?"

1st Corin.   5:11  "But now I have written unto you not to  keep
company,  if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or
covetous,  or  an idolater,  or a railer,  or a drunkard,  or  an
extortioner; with such a one, no, not to eat."

1st Corin.  6:9-10  "Abusers of themselves with mankind,  nor
thieves,  nor  covetous,
nor drunkards,  nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the
kingdom of God."

1st  Corin.   6:18-19  "Flee fornication.   Every sin that a man
doeth  is without the body;  but he that  committeth  fornication
sinneth against his own body.   What!  know ye not that your body
is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of
God, and ye are not your own?"

1st  Corin.   7:1-2  "It is good for a man not to touch a woman.
Nevertheless,  to avoid fornication,  let every man have his  own
wife, and let every woman have her own husband."

1st  Corin.   7:15   "But  if the unbelieving  depart,  let  him
depart.   A  brother  or a sister is not under  bondage  in  such
cases:  but God hath called us to peace."

1st Corin.   7:29  "But this I say, brethren, the time is short:
it  remaineth,  that both they that have wives be as though  they
had none;"
(Short lives?  Or short time til the end of Earth?)

1st Corin.  7:32-33  "He that is unmarried careth for the things
that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord:  but he that
is  married careth for the things that are of the world,  how  he
may please his wife."
(Basis of unmarried priesthood and nuns)

1st Corin.  8:6  "But to us there is but one God, the Father, of
whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by
whom are all things, and we by him."
    (Two different entities)

1st  Corin.   9:14   "Even so hath the Lord ordained  that  they
which preach the gospel should live of the gospel."

1st Corin.   9:18  "What is my reward then?  Verily that, when I
preach  the  gospel,  I  may make the gospel  of  Christ  without
charge, that I abuse not my power in the gospel."

1st Corin.  9:25  "And every man that striveth for the mastery is
temperate in all things."

1st  Corin.   10:17   "For we being many are one bread,  and  one
body:  for we are all partakers of that one bread."

1st Corin.   10:23  "All things are lawful for me, but all things
are not expedient:   all things are lawful for me, but all things
edify not."
    (?)

1st Corin.   10:32  "Give none offense,  neither to the Jews, nor
to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God:"

1st Corin.  11:4-6  "Every man praying or prophesying, having his
head covered, dishonoreth his head.  But every woman that
prayeth
or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoreth her head:
for
that is even all one as if she were shaven.   For if the woman be
not covered,  let her also be shorn:   but if it be a shame for a
woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered."

1st Corin.   11:7  "For a man indeed ought not to cover his head,
forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God:   but the woman is

the glory of the man."

1st Corin.  11:9  "Neither was the man created for the woman; but
the woman for the man."

1st Corin.   11:14  "Doth not even nature itself teach you, that,
if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?"

1st Corin.   13:1  "Though I speak with the tongues of men and of
angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or
a
tinkling cymbal."

1st  Corin.   14:2   "For he that speaketh in an  unknown  tongue
speaketh not unto men,  but unto God:   for no man
understandeth
him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries."

1st  Corin  14:9  "So likewise ye,  except ye utter by the tongue
words  easy  to  be understood,  how shall it be  known  what  is
spoken?  for ye shall speak into the air."

1st Corin.  14:27  "If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it
be by two,  or at the most by three,  and that by course; and let
one interpret."

1st Corin.   14:29  "Let the prophets speak two or three, and let
the other judge."

1st  Corin.   14:34-35   "Let  your women  keep  silence  in  the
churches:   for it is not permitted unto them to speak;  but they
are commanded to be under obedience,  as also saith the law.
And
if  they  will learn any thing,  let them ask their  husbands  at
home:  for it is a shame for women to speak in the church."

1st Corin.   15:21-22  "For since by man came death,  by man came
also the resurrection of the dead.   For as in Adam all die, even
so in Christ shall all be made alive."
