Mark 2:27-28 - "And he said unto them, The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath: therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath." Mark 8:38 - "of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in glory of his Father with the holy angels." Mark 9:30 - "The Son of man is delivered into the hands of men, and they shall kill him; and after that he is killed, he shall rise the third day." Mark 10:45 - "For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many." Mark 14:61 - "Again the high priest asked him and said unto Him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed? And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven." Sins and Sinner Mark 2:5 - "the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee." Mark 2:17 - "I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance." Mark 7:21-23 - For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasci- viousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolis- hness: all these evil things come from within, and defile the man. Mark 11:14 - "And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter forever." Mark 3:35 - "For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother." Mark 7:27 - But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it unto the dogs. Gentiles Mark 13:10 - "And the gospel must first be published among all nations." Mark 10:33 - "and shall deliver him to the Gentiles" Mark 14:9 - "Verily I say unto you, Wheeresoever this gospel shall be preached throughout the whole world." Mark 4:11-12 - And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables: that seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them. Mark 16:15 - "And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He that be- lieveth and is baptized shall be saved: but he that believeth not shall be damned." Torah Mark 7:3-13 - "For the Pharisees, and all the Jews, except they wash their hands oft, eat not, holding the tradi- tion of the elders. And when they come from the market, except they wash, they eat not. And many other things there be, which they have received to hold, as the washing of cups, and pots, brazen vessels and of tables. Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashed hands? He answered and said unto them, Well hath Isaish prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoreth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do. And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition. For Moses said, Honor thy father and thy mother, and Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death; but ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; he shall be free. And ye suffer him no more to do aught for his father or his mother; making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye. Mark 12:29 - "And Jesus answered him, The first of all commandments is, Hear O Isreal: The Lord our God is one Lord: and thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. Mark 12:18 - "Then come unto him the Sadducees, which say there is no resurrection:" Mark 12:26 - "in the book of Moses..." Tell no one Mark 7:36 - And he charged them that they should tell no man. Mark 8:29-30 - "And Peter answereth and saith unto him, Thou are Christ. And he charged them that they should tell no man of him." Mark 9:9 - "he charged them that they should tell no man what things they had seen, till the Son of man were risen from the dead." Salvation Mark 1:15 - "and saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe in the gospel." Mark 13:32 - "But of that day and that hour knoweth no man. no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father." Mark 9:37 - "Whosoever shall receive one of such children in my name, receiveth me; and whosoever shall receive me, receiveth not me, but him that sent me." Mark 4:25 - "For he that hath, to him shall be given; and he that hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he hath." Satan/Devils Mark 16:17 - "And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up ser- pents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover." Mark 9:43 - "And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched." Mark 3:29-30 - "but he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation: because they said, He hath an unclean spirit." Mark 9:29 - "This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting." |
