Pentecostal
Pentecostalism was born in a street revival in Los Angeles about 1906,
and one hundred years later includes 25% of the Christians worldwide.
They practice “speaking in tongues”, “prophesying”, and praying for
divine healing. They have a exuberant and joyous style of worship.
Pentecostals are likely to share their faith with nonbelievers at least
once a week. Generally, they would be considered conservatives.
They include denominations like the Assemblies of God.
